Domaine Corsin was founded in 1864 by Joseph Jacquet in the Mâconnais region of France, with a two-hectare plot of Chardonnay. They were pioneers in labeling their wines as Pouilly-Fuissé and Mâcon Blanc. Today, the family-run estate is in its sixth generation and comprises 13.6 hectares of Chardonnay, with the fifth and sixth generations—Jérémy, Gilles, and Jean-Jacques Corsin—overseeing the winemaking. This is always in our racks at home!
Its complex bouquet shows aromas of fruit and white flowers, intertwined with woody notes. On the palate, this wine is full and round with a prolonged minerality and slightly acidic flavour, which lifts the gorgeous, full and ripe stone fruit so typical of wines from this region.
